This Garage covers 1977–1990 Caprice builds. Each part has its own year range and equipment requirements. Check the original spindle and rotor size, axle housing, suspension and wheel clearance before choosing an upgrade. Wagon, police-package and modified cars need particular attention to those details.

Brakes
Four-piston black Dynalite calipers with 12.19-inch drilled and slotted rotors.
1979–1990 Caprice with OE 11-inch rotor spindles only. Original spindles require modification. Uses 5×4.50 / 5×4.75 bolt patterns and 1/2-20 studs; confirm your wheels. Some 15-inch wheels fit, but the clearance diagram must be checked. Hose kit below is required separately.

Street-performance lower arm pair for a planned front coilover upgrade.
1978–1990 Caprice. Requires compatible QA1 front coilovers, sold separately. These are not a standalone replacement for factory coil-spring lower arms.

Adjustable upper trailing arm pair for rear suspension setup.
Featured fitment: 1978–1990 Caprice. Confirm axle mounting points on modified housings; check 1977 separately because supplier year ranges differ.

Adjustable rear lower trailing arm pair with greasable bushings.
Featured fitment: 1978–1990 Caprice. Does not accept the factory rear sway bar. Plan the compatible sway-bar arrangement before ordering; check 1977 separately.

1-3/8-inch hollow chromoly bar with polyurethane bushings and mounting hardware.
Featured fitment: 1978–1990 Caprice. Check clearance with existing front suspension modifications.
Shop the front sway bar
Single-adjustable rear shocks, 250 lb/in springs, brackets and hardware for a rear coilover conversion.
Featured fitment: 1978–1990 Caprice. Spring rate must suit vehicle weight and use. Drilling is required for mounting brackets; wagons also require rear-crossmember clearancing. Lower brackets may not fit aftermarket axle housings. Requires T114W or T115W spanner wrench, sold separately. Confirm 1977 separately.
Shop rear coiloversCoilover installation & adjustment
These accessories support the QA1 RCK52384 rear coilover system featured above. They are sold separately from the suspension kit.
Required adjustment tool. Fits the QA1 coilover spring-seat adjuster and jam nut. Use it to set ride height following QA1’s instructions, with the suspension unloaded.
Shop the spanner wrench
Optional adjustment aid. Bearings and washers help the spring seat turn more easily when setting ride height. QA1 recommends this kit for the featured rear coilovers. Follow the specified anti-seize and installation instructions.
