Pypes SGG50T Turbo Pro converter-back exhaust is a 2.5-inch, 409 stainless-steel system for applicable 1978–1988 GM G-body cars.

  • Requires the four-bolt flat flange at the existing catalytic-converter outlet; a ball-and-socket connection will not fit as supplied.
  • Not for SS models.
  • Includes Turbo Pro mufflers, quarter-panel/side-exit tailpipes and installation hardware. Exhaust tips are sold separately.

This system connects behind the catalytic converter and retains it. It is not a header-back system or a catalytic-converter replacement. Confirm the converter flange, model and tailpipe clearance before ordering. Installation requires careful alignment; hanger mounting holes may need drilling. Follow Pypes instructions and check all joints for leaks.
