Borgeson 800130 Street & Performance power steering box

A 12.7:1-ratio power steering box with a 3/4-inch–30-spline input. Designed to replace the Saginaw/Delphi 800-series arrangement in Borgeson’s listed GM applications, including 1967–1992 Camaro and 1968–1979 Nova. Verify the actual chassis and steering components on modified vehicles.

Required connections

• All pre-1977 applications require the separately sold Borgeson 990012 rag-joint connector.
• Fits the original power-steering pitman arm in the listed applications. Manual-to-power conversions require a correct power-steering pitman arm, plus a suitable pump, drive, mounting and hoses.
• Includes flare inserts for compatible hose connections. Pressure port: M18 × 1.5 O-ring, or 11/16–18 flare with insert. Return: M16 × 1.5 O-ring, or 5/8–18 flare with insert.
• Manufacturer operating limits: 1,450 PSI maximum; 1,100–1,250 PSI optimal and 2.5–3.0 GPM recommended flow.

This is a steering box, not a complete conversion kit. Check column connection, pitman arm, hose fittings, pump output and chassis clearance before ordering. Follow Borgeson installation and bleeding instructions; have steering work completed and checked by a qualified installer.
