Verified application limits
DS-865 identifies factory disc/drum spindles for 1967–69 Camaro, 1967–74 Nova and 1967–72 Chevelle. Its 1964–66 Chevy II/Chevelle drum-spindle applications require modifications. This is not blanket GM A-/B-/F-/X-body fitment; aftermarket spindles need separate verification.
Check the complete installation
Use the exact wheel-clearance diagram and review spindle work, wheel bolt pattern and wheel-to-hub contact requirements. Track-width change per side is 0.38 inches from the original drum mounting face or 0.09 inches from the original disc mounting face.
Hoses are separate. Match fittings, length and routing; confirm master cylinder, proportioning and rear brakes for your system.
